The biggest PGA Tour party takes place in Phoenix during Super Bowl weekend, while LIV Golf kicks off its new season in Riyadh. Golf on TV goes live.
This week also marks the start of the LIV Golf 2026 season. The opening event takes place in Riyadh with several changes both in personnel and organization, most notably extending the tournament to 72 holes, or four rounds over four days. Sky Sports will broadcast all four days live, and LIV Golf will continue to be available on DAZN as well.
In addition to LIV Golf, Sky Sports brings coverage of another rarely televised tournament: the R&A Africa Amateur Championship, held from February 4 to 7, 2026, at Royal Johannesburg in South Africa. Players compete on the renowned East Course, with the winner earning a spot at the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale and the 2026 Amateur Championship.
Magenta TV and the DP World Tour continue with the Qatar Masters in the Middle East, but the main event this week is the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale, Arizona. Traditionally held during Super Bowl weekend, the Phoenix Open features the famous 16th hole as the highlight of the round.
