German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the start of the PGA Tour event at Torrey Pines. Find the Tee Times here.
As the first tee times of the Farmers Insurance Open are called, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears scoreable but offers no gifts. This combination annually guarantees a high-caliber field and early competitive excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament kickoff is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are starting. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major storyline is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group expected to draw early attention from both fans and the tournament. Koepka’s return adds significant star power to an already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 6 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm (all times in German time).
