German starters and Brooks Koepka’s comeback bring excitement to the PGA Tour kickoff at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
When the first tee times are announced at the Farmers Insurance Open, attention once again turns to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may appear more scorable but offers no gifts. This combination annually ensures a high-class field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback to the PGA Tour
Another major topic is Brooks Koepka’s comeback on the PGA Tour. The multiple major champion tees up alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group sure to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to the already elite field and makes the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 18:00 CET and on Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 CET.
