The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may seem scorable but offers no giveaways. This mix annually creates a high-quality field and early sporting thrill.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are set to compete. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces tough international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major champion tees off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group sure to capture early attention from tournaments and fans alike. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. (all times in German time).
