Schott Battles for the Lead on the Moving Day of the DP World Tour in Bahrain
Freddy Schott fought on day three of the DP World Tour in Bahrain for the lead heading into the final round. With flawless first nine holes and four birdies, he took the early lead from front-runner Calum Hill. Hill quickly lost his two-stroke advantage due to three bogeys and only one birdie on the first six holes. Schott initially caught up with birdies on holes 3 and 5 and extended his lead with further successes on 8 and 9, showing precise approach shots and confident putting.

Hill goes into the final day with a two-stroke lead (-16) over Schott (-14).
After the round, the German said: ‘I’m a bit disappointed that the last hole was a three-putt but it was a good day. We just continue doing what we have done so far. I thought maybe it might be a two-day thing to catch him (Hill). He had some trouble on the first holes and suddenly we were tied. I continue to follow the plan to catch him tomorrow and I’m looking forward to it. It would be great if it works out but it’s still a bit early to think about that.’
International Chasers Increase the Pressure
Close behind Hill and Schott lurk international challengers, including last week’s winner Patrick Reed. The American, who announced his departure from LIV Golf and his comeback to the PGA Tour this summer before the tournament started, began
