German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback bring excitement to the PGA Tour opener at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are announced for the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears more scorable but also offers no giveaways. This blend each year creates a high-quality field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul tee off. For Jäger and Rosenmüller, the North Course offers the chance for an aggressive start, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s comeback adds extra star power to an already impressive field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 18:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 (all times in German time).
