DP World Tour: Freddy Schott’s Second Eagle of the Week
After an excellent Thursday, Freddy Schott aimed to confirm his performance on Friday and secure a good position for the weekend. He started strong with a birdie on the first hole. Despite a drive that went right and a second shot into the rough on the third hole, Schott skillfully recovered to make another birdie. He added a third birdie on the ninth for -3 on the front nine. Starting on the back nine, he played error-free for a long stretch and opened with a birdie. Additional birdies on the 13th and first holes kept him near the top, but two poor shots on the third and a missed short putt on the seventh led to two bogeys to close his round. Still, with a total score of seven under par, Von Dellingshausen remains within striking distance, just one shot behind the group sharing fourth place.
