Schott Fights for the Lead on the DP World Tour Moving Day in Bahrain

Freddy Schott battled for the lead on day three of the DP World Tour in Bahrain. With flawless play over the front nine and four birdies, he took the lead early from Calum Hill, who lost his two-stroke advantage with three bogeys and only one birdie in the first six holes. Schott caught up with birdies on holes 3 and 5 and extended his lead on holes 8 and 9 with precise approach shots and confident putting.

However, Schott struggled with bogeys on holes 12 and 13. Tied again with Hill, both players birdied the 14th to reach a temporary total of -15. Calum Hill regained the lead with another birdie on 15, while Schott could not mount a decisive attack and recorded another unfortunate bogey on 18. Hill goes into the final day with a two-stroke lead at -16 over Schott at -14.

International Contenders Increase the Pressure

Close behind Hill and Schott are international contenders, including last week’s winner Patrick Reed. The American, who recently announced his departure from LIV Golf and upcoming return to the PGA Tour this summer, started the third round strongly.

Reed opened with a birdie and added three more in the first six holes. He remained aggressive on the back nine, birdied the 10th and eagled the 13th. Thanks to precise
