Patrick Reed wins in Dubai, Andy Sullivan finishes second. DACH players Schneider, von Dellingshausen, Girrbach, and Schott place in midfield.
American Patrick Reed secured the title at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour held at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, the gem of the Persian Gulf in the United Arab Emirates. Although Reed could not fully replicate his earlier success on the final day, an even-par round was enough to clinch the victory for the professional from San Antonio, Texas.
Mixed Final Day Suffices for Victory
Reed was not flawless on the front nine, recording at least one bogey on his scorecard. On the back nine, he recovered the mistake at the 10th hole but missed two putts on the 11th, resulting in a double bogey. He managed to even out at the 13th hole. Reed finished with a total of 14 strokes under par, winning comfortably ahead of Frenchman Julien Guerrier, Spaniard David Puig, and Englishman Andy Sullivan. With this win, Reed advanced in the Race to Dubai standings from 107th to 2nd place.

DP World Tour: Sullivan Fights to Second Place
Andy Sullivan made a strong comeback in the final rounds to secure sole second place. The Englishman started poorly on the front nine with four bogeys and only one birdie, but improved on the back nine with four birdies for a 71-round. He sealed a birdie on the 18th to clinch second place with a total of ten strokes under par, though he was pressured until the end by third-place finishers David Puig and Julien Guerrier. Puig closed the final round with a 73, tying with Guerrier at nine under par. Guerrier improved seven positions with a strong 69-round.
