Koepka Renewed, No Ban: Returns Immediately to PGA Tour

First start at the Farmers, Vijay Singh returns at 62, and Charley Hull launches a YouTube channel. The Back Nine highlights.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from the LIV Golf League 2026 season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major champion remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more family time, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil’s official statement. Koepka, a competitor who thrives in high-level tournaments, found less motivation at LIV and had joined in 2022 mainly due to injury concerns and financial security. Speculation surrounds where Koepka will play next – the DP World Tour, likely with penalty, or the PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension following his last LIV event. Recently, ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reported Koepka formally requested reactivation of his PGA Tour membership, aiming to return to the player pool.
