Bernhard Langer moves into the Top 10, Alex Cejka impresses with a final day surge as Stewart Cink claims victory in Hawaii.

At the Mitsubishi Electric Championship on the Champions Tour held at the Hualalai Golf Course in Kaʻūpūlehu on the volcanic island of Hawaii, American Stewart Cink emerged victorious to claim the trophy. The two German participants, Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka, both finished close to the Top 10 on the leaderboard after three rounds.

Champions Tour: Stewart Cink Dominates in Hawaii

Stewart Cink started strong on Thursday with a 66, placing himself early among the leaders. Despite a bogey on the 16th hole in his second round, he secured an incredible 63 on Friday with ten birdies. Cink capped off the tournament with a 64 on the final day, finishing 23 under par and claiming the top spot on the leaderboard.

Following Cink was Argentine Ángel Cabrera, who impressed with an eagle in the final round alongside five birdies and one bogey, shooting 66. Cabrera was particularly strong on the second day, moving confidently into third place. He also delivered an outstanding 62 on Friday. The 56-year-old from Córdoba province played a flawless front nine with five birdies and an eagle and added five birdies on the back nine, although two bogeys on holes 11 and 17 slowed him down. Despite finishing three strokes behind leader Cink, Cabrera secured second place, two shots ahead of South African Retief Goosen.

Bernhard Langer Moves Steadily into the Top 10

Bernhard Langer steadily climbed into the Top 10 during the tournament in Hawaii. He started with a 70 on Thursday, placing mid-field. On day two, Langer notched seven birdies and an eagle, with only a single bogey on the 15th hole. His solid 64 on the day, eight under par, gave him confidence going into the final round. On the last day, Langer shot 68 and moved up two more places, finishing ninth overall at 14 under par.

German professional golfer of Czech origin, Alex Cejka, also climbed near the Top 10. He posted a 68 on Thursday and a 70 on Friday, sitting in 24th place before the final day. The 55-year-old from Mariánské Lázně (today’s Czech Republic
