Marcel Schneider delivers nearly flawless performance on the DP World Tour
The third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour began with four German-speaking players still in the field. Marcel Schneider, in particular, shone on the Moving Day in Dubai. The German had an almost flawless day and climbed early on the leaderboard. Three birdies on the front nine set the foundation for his solid round. Especially strong play around the greens paid off. Two more birdies came against just one bogey on the 17th. With a score of -4 for the day, Schneider positions himself in the top 20 ahead of the final day, competing for top places.
Reed extends lead ahead of final day
At the top, Patrick Reed separated himself. After a mixed front nine, the American added three birdies on the back nine and remained otherwise error-free. He enters the final day with a score of -5 for the day and -14 overall, holding a four-shot lead.

David Puig is the closest chaser, posting a strong -6 on Saturday with only one bogey and seven birdies, bringing him to -10 after three days. Viktor Hovland also impressed with a bogey-free round featuring seven birdies, placing him at -9 and tied for third place with Andy Sullivan before the final round.
