The third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour featured four remaining German-speaking players. Marcel Schneider particularly impressed on Moving Day in Dubai, delivering an almost flawless round that propelled him early up the leaderboard. Three birdies on the front nine laid the foundation for his strong performance, especially thanks to exceptional play around the greens. He finished with two more birdies and only one bogey on the 17th hole. With a -4 round, Schneider positions himself within the top 20 heading into the final day, competing for top placements.

Patrick Reed Pulls Ahead Before Final Day

At the top of the leaderboard, Patrick Reed separated himself from the field. After a mixed front nine, the American added three birdies on the back nine and remained bogey-free. His -5 round for the day and total of -14 gave him a four-shot lead heading into the final round.

Directly chasing is David Puig, who posted a strong -6 on Saturday with only one bogey and seven birdies, taking him to -10 after three rounds.
