The third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour began with four remaining German-speaking players in the field. Marcel Schneider notably shone on Moving Day in Dubai. The German delivered an almost flawless round, climbing early up the leaderboard. Three birdies on the front nine set the foundation for his solid performance. His strong short game proved crucial, as he added two more birdies against just one bogey on the 17th. With a day total of -4, Schneider is positioned in the top 20 going into the final round and is contending for high placements.
Reed Extends Lead Ahead of Final Day
At the top, Patrick Reed pulled away. After a mixed front nine, the American birdied three holes on the back nine and remained otherwise flawless. He carded a -5 for the day and sits at -14 overall, leading by four shots going into the final round.

Directly chasing Reed is David Puig, who posted a strong -6 on Saturday with only one bogey and seven birdies, totaling -10 after three rounds. Viktor Hovland also impressed with a bogey-free round featuring seven birdies, placing him at -9, tied for third with Andy Sullivan going into the final round.
