WTGL will launch in winter 2026-27. TMRW Sports reveals the first LPGA Tour players set to compete next winter.
TMRW Sports announced the first group of LPGA Tour players committed to the WTGL, a new team golf platform in collaboration with the LPGA. The global roster includes world number one Jeeno Thitikul from Thailand, rising English star Charley Hull, three-time Olympic medalist Lydia Ko from New Zealand, Canada’s most successful golfer Brooke Henderson, and seven-time US Solheim Cup participant Lexi Thompson.
Prominent Stars Join the WTGL
Similar to the TGL, the WTGL will feature some of the biggest stars in golf, evident from this initial group of committed players.
Leading the lineup is Jenny Thitikul, world number one, with five LPGA Tour awards and seven LPGA victories. She has topped the world rankings since August 2025 and stands out as one of golf’s greatest young talents at just 22 years old.
Also joining is Charley Hull, ranked number 5 globally, who has won three LPGA Tour events and boasts an impressive 15-9-3 record across seven Solheim Cups for Team Europe.
LPGA Hall of Famer and former world number one Lydia Ko will also compete. The 28-year-old has 23 LPGA Tour wins, including three majors, and three Olympic medals.
Canada’s Brooke Henderson, the country’s most successful female golfer with 14 LPGA Tour wins including two majors, is the fourth player announced for the WTGL.
The final member of this inaugural WTGL group is 30-year-old American Lexi Thompson, who won the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship and was the second youngest major winner in LPGA history.
