The tee times for The American Express on the PGA Tour are set. Three DACH players start on three different golf courses.
At the second tournament of the PGA Tour for The American Express, players tee off on Thursday across three different courses of PGA West in La Quinta, southern California, known as the ‘Golden State.’ PGA West is a world-renowned golf and lifestyle resort nicknamed ‘The Western Home of Golf in America’ featuring various clubhouses and nine distinct courses, despite La Quinta having only about 40,000 inhabitants. The tournament courses include the Pete Dye Stadium Course, the La Quinta Country Club, and the Nicklaus Tournament Course.
Besides last year’s defending champion from Austria Sepp Straka, two German players participate in this tournament. Matti Schmid is playing his second tournament this season after missing the cut in Hawaii last weekend. Stephan Jäger makes his 2026 season debut in California.
