The Hero Dubai Desert Classic marks the second start of the DP World Tour in 2026. Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will kick off the tournament together in one group at 7:05 AM. Marcel Schneider will start simultaneously on the back nine and is one of several Germans participating. Rory McIlroy will tee off alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.
Wiesberger, Girrbach, and Schneider Start; Steinlechner Finishes
Marcel Schneider, the first German, tees off at 7:05 AM local time alongside Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine. Their second round begins at 11:25 AM.
Simultaneously, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach, together with Ricardo Gouveia, start on the front nine. Their second round also begins at 11:25 AM.
At 8:25 AM, Freddy Schott tees off with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan; their round the next day begins at 12:45 PM.
Jeremy Paul will start at 8:45 AM with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas; their Friday round begins at 1:05 PM.
Nicolai Von Dellingshausen starts at 11:35 AM with Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan; his second round begins at 7:15 AM.
Marcel Siem, following a T14 finish at the Dubai Invitational, begins at 12:05 PM with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson; their next round starts at 7:45 AM.
The first day will conclude with Maximilian Steinlechner of Austria, who starts at 12:55 PM alongside Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner; their second round starts at 8:35 AM.
