DP World Tour: Wiesberger to Open Hero Dubai Desert Classic

The DP World Tour has announced the tee times for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Bernd Wiesberger and Joel Girrbach will lead the tournament start. Several Germans participate.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour will start its second season in 2026. The first tee-off features Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach in the same flight at 7:05 a.m. Marcel Schneider will simultaneously start on the back nine and is one of several German players in the field. Rory McIlroy will tee off with Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton.

Wiesberger, Girrbach and Schneider Start, Steinlechner Finishes

Marcel Schneider is the first German to start at 7:05 a.m. local time, playing alongside Kazuma Kobori and Ethan Fang on the back nine. Their second round begins at 11:25 a.m.

Simultaneously, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger and Swiss Joel Girrbach will start with Ricardo Gouveia on the front nine, with their second round also beginning at 11:25 a.m.

Freddy Schott will start at 8:25 a.m. together with Jack Senior and Andrea Pavan, with his second round tee-off at 12:45 p.m. the following day.

Jeremy Paul tees off at 8:45 a.m. with Renato Paratore and Christian Maas, with his round on Friday starting at 1:05 p.m.

Nicolai Von Dellingshausen will begin at 11:35 a.m. alongside Ewen Ferguson and Matthew Jordan, with his second round starting at 7:15 a.m.

After finishing T14 at the Dubai Invitational, Marcel Siem starts his tournament at 12:05 p.m. with Niklas Lemke and Brandon Robinson-Thompson; their next round begins at 7:45 a.m.

The first day will conclude with Maximilian Steinlechner from Austria, starting at 12:55 p.m. with Francesco Laporta and Antoine Rozner. Their second round tee-time is at 8:35 a.m.

The highlight flight features Rory McIlroy teeing off with Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton at 8:05 a.m. local time. Their second round will begin at 12:25 p.m.
