The tee times for The American Express on the PGA Tour are set. Three DACH players start on three different golf courses.
At the second tournament of the PGA Tour, The American Express, players will tee off on Thursday at three different courses at PGA West in La Quinta, southern California, the “Golden State.” PGA West is a world-renowned golf and lifestyle resort, known as “The Western Home of Golf in America,” featuring various clubhouses and a total of nine golf courses, despite La Quinta having only around 40,000 inhabitants. During the tournament, play takes place on the Pete Dye Stadium Course, the La Quinta Country Club, and the Nicklaus Tournament Course.
Besides last year’s defending champion from Austria, Sepp Straka, two German players are competing in this tournament. Matti Schmid is starting his second tournament this season after missing the cut last weekend in Hawaii. Stephan Jäger is making his 2026 season debut in California. Matti Schmid will start at 6:03 p.m. German time (GMT+1) on the Nicklaus Tournament Course, defending champion Sepp Straka will tee off at 7:31 p.m. at La Quinta Country Club, and Stephan Jäger will also start at 7:31 p.m. but on the Pete Dye Stadium Course.
