On Tuesday at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in the Tomorrow Golf League (TGL), the New York Jupiter Links Golf Club (featuring Max Homa, Kevin Kisner, and Akshay Bhatia) faced off against the Los Angeles Golf Club (with Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa, and Sahith Theegala). The match was marked by the first albatross in TGL history. It was only during the second phase, the Singles, that the Los Angeles Golf Club clearly secured the match victory.
Triples Phase: Early Hammer Puts Los Angeles Ahead
In the second hole of the Triples phase, Los Angeles threw the first hammer securing two points early on. At the fifth hole, Jupiter Links threw their first hammer, earning an important point. Los Angeles expanded their lead on the sixth hole with another point. They finished the Triples phase with a bogey at the ninth hole, ending with a 4:1 score after Jupiter Links incurred a penalty on the final Triples hole.
During the Singles phase, the momentum shifted heavily toward Los Angeles. Justin Rose opened the tenth hole (Par 5) with a powerful 300-meter drive to the fairway. Max Homa followed with a solid but shorter shot that landed just short of the green, giving New York a chance to recover points.
Historic Moment: Justin Rose Scores First Albatross in TGL
At the tenth hole, Justin Rose made history by hitting the first albatross in TGL history with a 4-iron from 210 meters, thrilling the crowd at the SoFi Center. Even Tiger Woods smiled, noting he never achieved an albatross during his career. This shot extended Los Angeles’ lead to 5:1.

Jupiter Links clawed back three points on the 12th and 13th holes. Kevin Kisner made par on 12 after Collin Morikawa incurred a penalty. Max Homa then earned two more points with a birdie following a New York hammer throw that Los Angeles accepted. At 4:5, the match was excitingly close.
