A life-sized bronze statue of the Spanish golf legend Severiano \”Seve\” Ballesteros, erected in 2009, has gone missing from his hometown of Pedrena in the Cantabria region, according to the local authorities. Spanish police have launched an investigation after the municipal council of Marina de Cudeyo announced on Instagram that the \”unfortunate incident\” over the weekend suggests the bronze statue was stolen. The council urged the public to assist the investigation: \”If anyone has seen suspicious movements, particularly in the last 24 hours, please inform the Guardia Civil or the local police.\”
