The week kicks off in the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour. The first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic is underway at the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay. After the round was suspended due to darkness, Monday promises a long day of golf. The clubhouse lead stands at -5, with Ben Taylor needing to maintain his -6 after 15 holes.
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, moving to the Emirates GC. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic starts Thursday, featuring seven German-speaking players: Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger and Jeremy Paul. International star power is also strong, with four-time tournament winner Rory McIlroy among the favorites for the title.
The PGA Tour also begins on Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, with Scottie Scheffler kicking off his 2026 season. After a dream year in 2025, he aims to continue his success. The American Express Championship title is yet to be added to the world number one’s portfolio. Austria’s defending champion Sepp Straka returns, alongside Germans Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid.
The PGA Tour Champions starts with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday, featuring legends including two Germans, Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka. They face competition from Vijay Singh, who warmed up in Hawaii with a cut made the previous week on the PGA Tour.
