On Tuesday at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the Tomorrow Golf League (TGL) featured a match between the New York-based Jupiter Links Golf Club (Max Homa, Kevin Kisner, Akshay Bhatia) and the Los Angeles Golf Club (Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala). The match was crowned by the first albatross in TGL history, achieved by Justin Rose. The Los Angeles Golf Club secured a decisive victory during the second phase of the match, the Singles.
Triples Phase: Early Hammer Puts Los Angeles Ahead
During the second hole of the first phase, known as Triples, Los Angeles threw the first hammer securing two points. Jupiter Links responded with their own hammer on the fifth hole, earning an important point. On the following sixth hole, Los Angeles extended their lead by another point. By the end of the ninth hole, Los Angeles finished the Triples phase with a bogey and a lead of 4:1 after Jupiter Links received a penalty stroke on the final hole of the Triples.
In the Singles phase, points quickly piled up for Los Angeles. Justin Rose opened the tenth hole (Par 5) with a driver, launching a confident 300-meter shot onto the fairway. Max Homa followed with a strong but shorter shot onto the fairway; his second shot landed just short of the green, giving New York a good chance to recover points.
Historic Moment: Justin Rose Scores TGL’s First Albatross
Justin Rose then achieved a first in TGL history on the tenth hole by hitting an albatross from 210 meters out with a 4-iron, electrifying the fans at the SoFi Center. Even Tiger Woods smiled, noting he had never made an albatross in his career. This remarkable shot increased Los Angeles’s lead to 5:1.

On the 12th and 13th holes, Jupiter Links clawed back three points. Kevin Kisner secured a par on the 12th hole after Collin Morikawa incurred a penalty stroke. Using a hammer accepted by Los Angeles, Max Homa birdied to earn two additional points for New York, tightening the match to 4:5 late in the game.
