Golf Week Preview: Four Tournaments and Many German Starters

Four tours offer seven days of golf action from the Bahamas and PGA Tour to Dubai, featuring several German players. Golf week preview:

Korn Ferry Tour: Long Monday in the Bahamas

The international golf week kicks off at the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour. At The Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay, the first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classics is underway. Due to fading daylight, the first round could not be completed regularly, resulting in an especially long golf day on Monday. A round of -5 currently leads the clubhouse, while Ben Taylor is yet to finish his strong performance: after 15 holes, he leads alone at -6.

The tournament runs through Wednesday and is broadcast daily from 8:00 pm on MagentaTV.

DP World Tour: Star-Studded Field and Strong German Presence in Dubai

The DP World Tour remains in Dubai at the Emirates Golf Club. Seven German-speaking players will start at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on Thursday. Besides Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem, the field also includes Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul competing for a $9 million prize fund. International star power is guaranteed: Rory McIlroy, a four-time winner of the tournament, is among the favorites this year. Also participating are Tommy Fleetwood, Patrick Reed, and Francesco Molinari. After his victory last week
