The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, moving to the Emirates Golf Club. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic starts on Thursday with seven German-speaking players in the field, including Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul. International star power is also on display with four-time tournament winner Rory McIlroy among the favorites to claim the title this year.
The PGA Tour also begins Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, where Scottie Scheffler starts his 2026 golf season. After a stellar year in 2025, Scheffler looks to continue his success, with the American Express Championship title still missing from his achievements. Austrian defending champion Sepp Straka returns, alongside German contenders Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid.
The PGA Tour Champions kicks off with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday. Legends including Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka, both from Germany, will compete alongside competitors like Vijay Singh, who prepared by making the cut at a recent PGA Tour event in Hawaii.
