Four tours offer seven days of golf action from the Bahamas to the PGA Tour and Dubai with several German starters. The golf week preview:
Korn Ferry Tour: Long Monday in the Bahamas
The international golf week kicks off early with the Korn Ferry Tour starting in the Bahamas. At the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay, the first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classics is underway. Due to the onset of darkness, the first round could not be completed as scheduled, leading to a particularly long golf day on Monday. Currently, a round of -5 leads the clubhouse, while Ben Taylor still has to finish his strong performance: after 15 holes, he leads alone at -6.
The tournament runs until Wednesday and is broadcast daily from 8:00 PM on MagentaTV.
DP World Tour: Star-Studded Field and Strong German-Speaking Presence in Dubai
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, hosted at the Emirates Golf Club. Seven German-speaking players start in the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on Thursday. Among them are Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem, along with Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul competing for the $9 million prize fund. International star power is guaranteed: Rory McIlroy, who has won this tournament four times, is one of the favorites again this year. Tommy Fleetwood, Patrick Reed, and Francesco Molinari are also participating. After winning the previous week in Dubai, Nacho Elvira will tee off with extra confidence.
The Dubai Desert Classic will be broadcast from 8:30 AM on Thursday and Friday, with weekend coverage starting at 8:00 AM on MagentaTV.
PGA Tour: Scheffler Starts the 2026 Golf Year
The PGA Tour also begins on Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, marking Scottie Scheffler’s start into the 2026 golf year. After an outstanding 2025, the world number one aims to continue his success. A title at the American Express Championship is still missing from his achievements.
Defending champion Sepp Straka from Austria is also competing again. It will be exciting to see if Ryan Gerard (2nd place at the Dubai Invitational) and Patrick Rodgers (3rd place at the Dubai Invitational) can maintain their strong form from last week. Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid represent the German colors.
MagentaTV broadcasts daily from 5:30 PM Thursday through Saturday.
PGA Tour Champions: Legends Tee Off in Hawaii
The PGA Tour Champions kicks off and closes the golf week. At the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai, legends will compete from Friday to Sunday. Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka are two German golf greats in the field among international stars like Miguel Ángel Jiménez. They face competition from Vijay Singh, who warmed up in Hawaii after making the cut on the PGA Tour last week.
Live coverage from Hawaii starts Friday at 1:00 AM on MagentaTV.
