The week kicks off in the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour at the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay hosting the first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic. Play was suspended due to darkness, promising a long Monday of golf. The clubhouse lead stands at -5, with Ben Taylor needing to hold onto his -6 lead after 15 holes.
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai moving to the Emirates GC. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic begins Thursday with seven German-speaking players in the field including Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul. International star power is also present with four-time champion Rory McIlroy among the favorites.
The PGA Tour also starts Thursday at Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California. Scottie Scheffler begins his 2026 season looking to build on his standout 2025 and to add a title at The American Express, which is missing from his portfolio. Austrian defending champion Sepp Straka returns, along with German representatives Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid.
The PGA Tour Champions kicks off with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday. Legends including Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka are competing, with Vijay Singh also joining after making the cut at a PGA Tour event in Hawaii the previous week.
