The week kicks off in the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour. The first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic is underway at the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay. After play was suspended due to darkness, Monday promises a long day of golf. The clubhouse lead stands at -5, while Ben Taylor must hold onto his -6 lead after 15 holes.
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, moving to Emirates GC. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic kicks off on Thursday with seven German-speaking players in the field, including Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul. International star Rory McIlroy, a four-time winner of this event, is also among the favorites to win the title this year.
The PGA Tour starts on Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California. Scottie Scheffler begins his 2026 golf season aiming to build on his stellar 2025. The world number one is yet to claim a title at The American Express Championship. Austrian defending champion Sepp Straka will also compete, joined by German players Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid.
The PGA Tour Champions opens its season at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday. German players Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka are among the legendary field, facing competition from Vijay Singh, who warmed up with a made cut on the PGA Tour last week in Hawaii.
