Golf on TV: World-Class Kickoff in Dubai, PGA Season Starts in Hawaii

Shine in Dubai, start in Hawaii: The DP World Tour kicks off the International Swing, and the PGA Tour begins the year without its usual opening event. Golf on TV is live.

The International Swing of the DP World Tour starts with the Dubai Invitational at Dubai Creek Resort. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood faces a star-studded field including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari, and Masters champions like Patrick Reed. The event features a Pro-Am format with 60 professionals and 60 amateurs before only professionals compete for the title on Sunday. Under the German flag, Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem kick off the new season.

The 2026 PGA Tour season starts unusually as The Sentry in Kapalua was canceled due to ongoing drought. Instead, the Sony Open at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu opens the new season. The tournament offers $9.1 million in prize money and the first FedExCup points of the season. Defending champion Nick Taylor will compete alongside former winners and Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. German player Matti Schmid also represents his country.
