Golf on TV: World-Class Start in Dubai, PGA Season Opens in Hawaii

The DP World Tour kicks off the International Swing in Dubai, while the PGA Tour starts the year without its usual opener in Hawaii. Golf on TV is live.

The Dubai Invitational launches the DP World Tour’s International Swing at the Dubai Creek Resort. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood faces a star-studded field including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari, and Masters champions like Patrick Reed. The event is played in a Pro-Am format with 60 professionals and 60 amateurs before the professionals compete for the title on Sunday. Representing Germany, Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem kick off the new season.

The 2026 PGA Tour season starts unusually as The Sentry at Kapalua was canceled due to ongoing drought. Instead, the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu opens the new season, with $9.1 million in prize money and the first FedExCup points up for grabs. Defending champion Nick Taylor participates along with former winners and Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. Germany is represented by Matti Schmid.
