Golf on TV: World-Class Start in Dubai, PGA Season Kickoff in Hawaii

The DP World Tour kicks off the International Swing in Dubai while the PGA Tour starts the new year in Hawaii without its usual opening event. Live golf on TV is ready to follow the action.

The Dubai Invitational at the Dubai Creek Resort launches the International Swing of the DP World Tour. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood competes against a star-studded field including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari, and Masters champions like Patrick Reed. The event starts with a pro-am format (60 pros, 60 amateurs), with only the pros competing for the title on Sunday. German players Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem mark the beginning of the new season.

The PGA Tour’s 2026 season begins unusually: Due to ongoing drought, The Sentry in Kapalua was canceled. Instead, the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu opens the new season. The prize purse is $9.1 million with the first FedExCup points on the line. Defending champion Nick Taylor is in the field alongside former winners and Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. Germany is represented by Matti Schmid.
