Gregor Biernath: “Something New and Good is Emerging for Golf”
Gregor Biernath, one of the most recognized golf voices in the German-speaking world, is moving from Sky TV to MagentaTV. Biernath will lead the new expert team, supported by golf experts Florian Zunker, Bernd Ritthammer and Max Kramer. Commenting on his move, Biernath said: “The entire team immediately gave me the feeling that something new and good for golf is taking shape here. We can innovate and shake up golf coverage at MagentaTV.” He also praised the new team as a “cool editorial team” and a “really good mix.”
New faces have also been found for the commentator roles. Michael Born, who has previously worked as a handball and football commentator for DAZN, will now join Herbert Gogel and Stephan Gandel in commentating the golf events. Additionally, Holger Speckhahn, known primarily as a hockey presenter for MagentaSport, will also accompany the upcoming live broadcasts.
