Gregor Biernath: ‘Something New and Good is Emerging for Golf’

Gregor Biernath, one of the most well-known golf voices in the German-speaking region, transitions from Sky to MagentaTV. He will lead the new expert team with support from golf specialists Florian Zunker, Bernd Ritthammer, and Max Kramer. Biernath commented on his move: ‘The entire team immediately gave me the feeling that something new and good for golf is emerging here. We can innovate and shake up golf coverage at MagentaTV.’ He also praised the team as a ‘cool editorial team’ with a ‘really good mix.’

In the commentator department, new faces have been found as well. Michael Born, previously known as a handball and football commentator at DAZN, will join Herbert Gogel and Stephan Gandel as golf commentators. Additionally, Holger Speckhahn, recognized for his ice hockey moderation at MagentaSport, will also be part of the upcoming live broadcasts.
