TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Versatility and Speed

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver series with four models focusing on maximum speed and compatibility. Detailed insights into the new driver for enhanced ball speed.

TaylorMade brings new momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, these new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four different models cater to various playing and swing types.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate more efficient ball speeds compared to titanium while offering greater durability and robustness. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations, regardless of whether the ball strikes higher or lower on the face.

An enhanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed via finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower area, expanding the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed in common impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Additionally, the head aerodynamics have been optimized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and subtly integrated structures to support clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is the high level of individualization. All models are equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially developed REAX shafts are available, targeting three distinct swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and offered in multiple flex and weight categories. This enables tailored shaft options for different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Unique Focus Areas

Qi4D: The base model utilizes a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights can influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights forward promote higher ball speeds, while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and particularly low spin. Computational fluid dynamics optimizations ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise spin and trajectory adjustments.

Qi4D Max: Focuses on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum components reduce weight and add extra adjustment possibilities. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) permit flexible center of gravity shifts between increased ball speed or added stability.

Qi4D Max Lite: Incorporates Max model technologies with a focus on lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers aiming to boost their clubhead speed deliberately.

The Qi4D Drivers will be available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and hit specialty stores from January 29.
