Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – driver, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for more speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids that claim to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
The centerpiece of the new woods is the JPX ONE Driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. In cooperation with the Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno developed a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy upon impact than traditional titanium or composite constructions, generating higher ball speeds over a significantly larger hitting area.
Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (High-Speed Rebound Zone) expands by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno unveiled two driver models: the standard JPX ONE Driver, featuring a slightly larger clubhead for greater stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a more compact, tour-proven shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel for precise customization of launch and spin.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The JPX ONE fairway woods feature a redesigned CORTECH chamber, varying the internal distance between the sole and chamber wall to maximize energy transfer across the clubface by flexing towards the toe and heel without losing efficiency in the center. Each clubhead has a surrounding composite crown, reducing weight at the top and lowering the center of gravity, resulting in higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness optimizes energy efficiency at impact, while a completely new sole enhances turf interaction for cleaner contact and consistent ball speeds from diverse lies. Available in lofts from 15° to 24°, these fairway woods provide an ideal blend of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight, catering to golfers seeking effortless distance with classic Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The hybrids in the JPX ONE series adopt the fairway woods’ design philosophy, scaled down into a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure increases face stability and allows Mizuno engineers to position saved mass lower and further back in the clubhead, supporting optimal launch and maximal spin control. Like the fairway woods, hybrids feature a MAS1C face paired with a CORTECH chamber and the innovative sole design. Available lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28° create a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
