Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids featuring high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and signature Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new line of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver along with various fairway woods and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
The centerpiece of this innovative wood line is the JPX ONE Driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno created a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically alters face elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite faces, resulting in higher ball speeds across a larger sweet spot.
Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the so-called CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) is increased by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno launched two driver models: the regular JPX ONE Driver has a slightly larger head for more stability and straighter ball flight, while the JPX ONE SELECT offers a more compact, tour-tested shape with neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel for precise launch and spin customization.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The JPX ONE series also introduces new fairway woods featuring a redesigned CORTECH chamber, where the internal distance between sole and chamber wall varies strategically. This design maximizes energy transfer across the entire face without sacrificing the center zone.
Each club head includes a composite crown that saves crucial grams at the top, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. The MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy transfer at impact, and the fully redesigned sole improves turf interaction for cleaner contact and consistent ball speeds from various lies. Available lofts range from 15° to 24°, aiming to provide the ideal balance of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectory for golfers seeking effortless distance with classic Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The hybrids share the fairway wood design philosophy but come in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle-crown structure enhances face stability, allowing engineers to position mass lower and further back for optimized launch and spin control.
Similar to the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face combined with a CORTECH chamber and the new sole design. Offered in lofts from 19°, 22°, 25° to 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
