TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Versatility and Speed

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver lineup with four models focusing on maximum speed and compatibility for different swing types.

TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with its Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum speed, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustment options, covering various playing and swing styles across four different models.

New Clubfaces and Aerodynamic Precision

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable to date. They feature newly developed carbon clubfaces that generate more efficient ball speed compared to titanium while offering greater durability. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of high or low impact points.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower face area, extending the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed across common impact zones. This is complemented by corrective face curvature. Additionally, the clubhead aerodynamics have been optimized through finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and discreetly integrated structures to ensure clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of personalization. All models include a 4° loft sleeve, allowing adjustments of loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially developed REAX shafts are also used, tailored to three distinct swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight classes. This enables targeted customization of standard shafts to different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D
The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights forward boost ball speed, while rear placement increases stability.

Qi4D LS
Focused on maximum speed and low spin, the LS model features an aerodynamically optimized head shape designed via flow simulations for smooth airflow and clean separation at the back of the clubhead. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise tuning of spin and ball flight.

Qi4D Max
Prioritizing forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Max model uses aluminum to reduce weight and add adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center of gravity shifts between increased ball speed or stability.

Qi4D Max Lite
Inheriting technologies from the Max, the Max Lite model emphasizes a lightweight design, with the lightest head, shaft, and grip in the series, aimed at golfers seeking to increase clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, at €699 and will be in stores from January 29, 2026.
