TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver lineup with four models focused on maximum speed and adaptability.

TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and comprehensive adjustability. Four distinct models cater to different playing and swing types.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. Based on newly developed carbon faces, which generate more efficient ball speeds compared to titanium while being more durable and robust. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of higher or lower impact points.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower region, creating an extended high-performance area that stabilizes ball speed in typical strike zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Simultaneously, head aerodynamics were optimized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and subtly integrated structures promoting clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is high individual customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are available, tailored to three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and offered in various flex and weight classes. Standard shafts can thus be fine-tuned for different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D

The base model utilizes a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Placement influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, as well as draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights forward promote higher ball speed, while a rear position increases stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS emphasizes maximum speed and low spin. Its head shape was aerodynamically optimized using numerical flow simulations to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the back of the clubhead. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise fine-tuning of spin and trajectory.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max focuses on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Using aluminum reduces weight and allows additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) provide flexible center of gravity adjustments between increased speed or enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite adopts the Max model technology but emphasizes a lightweight design. Head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers looking to increase their clubhead speed effectively.

The Qi4D Drivers are available for preorder starting January 8, 2026, at a price of 699 € and will be available in specialty stores from January 29.
