TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility. The new driver detailed.

TaylorMade introduces dynamic speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability, covering various playing and swing types with four distinct models.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable ever. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate higher ball speeds than titanium while being more durable. Improved roll radii reduce spin rate deviation, whether the ball is hit high or low on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower region, expanding the high-performance area to stabilize ball speed in common strike zones. A corrective face curvature complements this. At the same time, the clubhead aerodynamics are optimized with refined shapes, smooth transitions, and subtle integrated structures promoting clean airflow through the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization via Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is the high degree of customization. All models come with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts cater to three swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, Active) and are available in different flexes and weights, enabling tailored shaft options for various player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D

The base model uses a four-weight TAS system (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2) with movable weights. Positioning influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade bias. Heavier weights upfront boost ball speed; rear placement adds stability.

Qi4D LS

Designed for maximum speed and low spin, the Qi4D LS features an aerodynamically optimized head shape developed through numerical flow simulations for smooth airflow and clean wake at the heel. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory tuning.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max emphasizes forgiveness without losing speed. Aluminum reduces weight and enables more adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) help shift the center of gravity between higher ball speed and increased stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Max Lite applies Max model technologies but focuses on a lightweight build. The lightest head, shaft, and grip in the series target golfers looking to boost clubhead speed.

The Qi4D Drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at 699 € and will be in stores from January 29.
