TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver lineup with four models designed for maximum speed and compatibility. The new driver delivers detailed improvements in speed.
TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Engineered for maximum velocity, these new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability options. Four distinct models cover various playing and swing styles.
New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate more efficient ball speeds compared to titanium while being stronger and more durable. Enhanced roll radii on the face help reduce variations in spin rate regardless of whether the ball is struck high or low on the face.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed with finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower area, creating an extended high-performance zone that stabilizes ball speed in key impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Additionally, the clubhead aerodynamics are maximized with finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and subtle integrated structures that support a clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization through Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A central feature of the Qi4D series is the high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) are available in various flex and weight categories, enabling tailored shaft options to suit different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Different Focuses
Qi4D
The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights placed forward encourage higher ball speeds, while rear placement enhances stability.
Qi4D LS
The Qi4D LS targets maximum speed and particularly low spin. Its head shape was aerodynamically optimized with computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the back of the clubhead. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.
Qi4D Max
The Qi4D Max focuses on forgiveness without compromising speed. Aluminium construction reduces weight and adds adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) permit flexible center of gravity tuning for more ball speed or enhanced stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
The Qi4D Max Lite adopts the technologies of the Max model but in a consistently lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, catering to golfers aiming to increase their clubhead speed deliberately.
The Qi4D Drivers will be available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026,
