TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Versatility and Speed

TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver series featuring four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility for different swing styles. The new driver delivers enhanced speed through innovative design and customization options.

TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers with cutting-edge speed, high aerodynamic efficiency, and extensive adjustability. The four distinct models cater to different player types and swing characteristics.

Innovative Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable to date, featuring newly developed carbon faces that generate higher ball speeds than titanium while being more durable. Enhanced roll radii on the face reduce spin rate variations regardless of where the ball strikes.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™ designed using finite element analysis increases face flexibility in the lower section, expanding the high-performance area to stabilize ball speed in typical impact zones. Additionally, a corrective face curvature and optimized aerodynamic head shapes ensure smoother airflow throughout the swing.

Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is the high degree of personalization. All models have a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments in loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially developed REAX shafts support three different swing profiles—Hold, Balance, and Active—and are available in various flex and weight classes, enabling tailored fitting to player preferences.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focus

Qi4D

The base model features a quad weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2) to influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and shot shape. Forward weights promote higher speed; rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

Designed for maximum speed and low spin, the LS model benefits from aerodynamic optimizations for smooth airflow and clean separation at the back. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory control.

Qi4D Max

Prioritizing forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Max uses aluminum to reduce weight and offers two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) for balance between speed and stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

Using Max technologies in a lighter package, the Max Lite features the lightest head, shaft, and grip, aimed at players seeking to boost clubhead speed.

Qi4D drivers will be available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, at €699 and will hit retailers on January 29.
