Mizuno Pro Modern Series: Precision Meets Speed in New Irons

Mizuno launches the Pro Modern Series with M-13 and M-15 irons for players seeking speed, control, and feel in classic shapes.

With the introduction of the Pro Modern Series, Mizuno opens a new chapter in its Pro line. The M-13 and M-15 models target ambitious golfers who expect modern performance features but still want compact head shapes, a solid impact feel, and precise feedback at contact. Both models cater to different player types and complement Mizuno’s existing Pro offerings with a contemporary performance-oriented option.

Mizuno Pro M-13: Tour-Shaped with Modern Power

As the successor to the Pro 243, the Pro M-13 builds on a tour-proven concept, blending classic proportions with an evolved construction. It is designed for players seeking a fast, stable ball flight paired with maximum precision in scoring irons.

The long irons feature a three-piece forged structure. The combination of Chromoly and stainless steel allows an ultra-thin face that delivers significantly higher ball speeds compared to its predecessor. Despite this increased dynamism, feedback remains clear and direct. The mid irons provide additional flexibility for consistent distances, while the short irons and wedges use a one-piece forging to prioritize precision and feel.

Performance is enhanced by calibrated vibration dampening and a tour-inspired sole for clean turf interaction.

Pro M-15: More Height and Stability

The M-15, successor to the Pro 245, is aimed at players who prefer a higher ball flight and added forgiveness without sacrificing a compact look. The set ensures harmonious transitions in shape, feel, and performance from long irons to wedges.

A key feature is the advanced CORTECH face technology in irons 4 through 8, coupled with a hollow-body construction that promotes high ball speeds and consistent results. Strategically placed tungsten weights increase launch and stability, helping a straight and reliable ball flight. For the short irons, emphasis returns to control, supported by a partially hollow forged construction.

Optimized sole geometry facilitates turf contact while targeted dampening elements create a solid impact feel.
