TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Drivers with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility for diverse player needs.

TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four distinct models cater to different playing and swing types.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that deliver greater ball speed compared to titanium, while also being more robust and durable. Enhanced roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate variations regardless of whether the ball is struck high or low on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed via Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower section, expanding the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed in typical impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Concurrently, the driver heads’ aerodynamics have been optimized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and subtle integrated structures to ensure clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization Through Shafts and Adjustability

A key feature of the Qi4D series is a high degree of personalization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are available, tailored to three distinct swing characteristics: Hold, Balance, and Active. These shafts come in various flexes and weights, enabling precise fitting to different player profiles.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Unique Focuses

Qi4D

The base model employs a quad-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Depending on positioning, ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies can be influenced. Heavier weights in the front increase ball speeds, while rear placement improves stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS is engineered for maximum speed and low spin. The head shape was aerodynamically optimized using numerical flow simulations to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the club’s rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise spin and trajectory control.

Qi4D Max

Focused on forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Qi4D Max uses aluminum to reduce weight and offers additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center-of-gravity shifts between higher ball speed or increased stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Max Lite model builds on the Max’s technology but is engineered for lightweight performance. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers aiming to boost clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be available in stores starting
