How Tiger Woods is Celebrating His 50th Birthday with a Star-Studded Party

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor. Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the celebration is set to be grand. His foundation will host a major party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the motto ‘RED: Celebrating Legacy,’ the milestone birthday will be celebrated with about 300 guests at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course while also looking ahead to the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, as well as other sports personalities.

The Theme

The evening will revolve entirely around the birthday honoree. The dress code is ‘a touch of red,’ recalling the iconic final outfit worn by the 15-time major champion that also inspired his own clothing line. The menu for the evening is further inspired by those served at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, potentially including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu at his first Masters win, when Woods had cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the night, which even has its own sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young presents the evening.

The Good Cause

However, the event is not just about celebrating 50 years of Tiger Woods; it also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
