Mizuno JPX ONE: New Woods with High-Tech Faces for More Speed & Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids featuring high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and signature Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods, the JPX ONE series, including a new driver, various fairway woods, and hybrids designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The centerpiece of the series is the JPX ONE Driver, the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in partnership with Japanese chemical and materials manufacturer Toray, this microscopic polymer dispersion dynamically alters the face’s elasticity at impact, storing and releasing more energy than conventional titanium or composite constructions to deliver higher ball speeds over a larger sweet spot.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA high-speed rebound zone is increased by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno offers two driver models: the standard JPX ONE with a larger clubhead for stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a compact, tour-proven shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both feature adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel for precise launch and spin customization.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The fairway woods incorporate a redesigned CORTECH chamber, varying the internal distance between sole and chamber wall to maximize energy transfer across the entire face without sacrificing center efficiency. Each clubhead has a composite crown that reduces weight high in the head to lower the center of gravity, resulting in higher launch and reduced spin.

Machined from MAS1C steel with variable thickness, the face ensures efficient energy transfer while the new sole design optimizes turf interaction for cleaner strikes and consistent ball speeds from varied lies. With lofts from 15° to 24°, JPX ONE fairway woods offer the perfect blend of speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for players seeking effortless distance with Mizuno’s classic feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The hybrids share the fairway woods’ design philosophy but with a more compact, iron-like shape. A waffle-crown structure increases face stability, allowing weight to be positioned deeper and farther back for optimal launch and spin control. Featuring MAS1 steel faces, CORTECH chambers, and the new sole design, the hybrids are offered in lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, providing a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
