Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Celebration Features Top Guests and Charity

Tiger Woods’ birthday party in January will feature a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 years old on December 30, and the milestone is set to be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it demands a grand celebration. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will join the festivities. The party will be held at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, the event aims to celebrate Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course and look towards the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other prominent figures from the sports world.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” in homage to the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu is further inspired by the meals served at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters victories. This could include elements of the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters win, when Woods served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap the evening, which is even presented by a title sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young.

For a Good Cause

The event is not only a celebration of 50 years in Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
