The first official tournaments must wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event offers players a chance to qualify. Golf on TV is live.
At the LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026, players compete for starting spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players of the tournament earn a full starting spot for the 2026 LIV Golf League. Additionally, the top 10 (including ties) automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The event is played over four rounds of stroke play. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to round 2, with scores reset. The same applies after round 2, with the top 20 moving on to rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff occurs only if necessary to determine the winner or second and third places.
