Fujikura starts 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
Fujikura introduces the VENTUS TR Blue, a new shaft model building upon a well-known foundation. The latest version retains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor while incorporating an internal update: VeloCore+, a technology Fujikura claims will increase stability and consistency.
Fujikura: In-House Technology Advancements
As with the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using Fujikura’s enso® system, a proprietary 3D motion capture technology that analyzes shaft movements in detail. The data collected was directly integrated into the design of the new model, which Fujikura says has been optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Enhancements
The VENTUS TR Blue is targeted at players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—is designed to provide greater shaft stability under high stress. Fujikura states the balance between feel and control remains intact. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black models, product manager TJ Spidle notes internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most test players. This model fills a portfolio gap, catering to those desiring a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Play Styles
The shaft will be available in various weight classes ranging from 50 to 90 grams, and flex options from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized retailers and select custom-fit programs.
