The first official tournaments have to wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event sees players vying for qualification spots. Golf on TV is live.
At the LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026, players compete for starting spots in the upcoming season of the LIV Golf League. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players of the tournament will receive a full starting spot for the LIV Golf League 2026. Additionally, the top 10 players (including ties) automatically qualify for the International Series 2026.
The tournament is played over four rounds of stroke play. After Round 1, the top 20 players and ties qualify for Round 2, with scores reset. The same applies after Round 2, when again the top 20 advance to Rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff only occurs if needed to determine the winner or the second and third places.
