Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party

With a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor, Tiger Woods’ January birthday celebration is set to impress.

The Occasion

A golf legend turning 50 is cause for a grand celebration. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be lavishly celebrated with about 300 guests. The party will take place at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Hosted by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event aims to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course, while also looking to the future. Friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports figures, are on the guest list.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” inspired by the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu for the evening is inspired by the meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters victories. This could even include elements of the McDonald’s-inspired meal from his first Masters win, when Woods famously served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the evening, which even has its own sponsor: the auditing firm Ernst & Young presents the event.

Supporting a Good Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years in Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) education, career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
